Test Information

WE USE 3 COMBINED SCREENINGS

  • ANS Testing – This portion of the test is looking for Heart Rate Variability. The ANS portion of the assessment involves the placement of Blood Pressure Cuffs, EKG, and PO2 Sensors. The patient will be instructed to perform specific breathing activities while being monitored.
  • ABI Testing – This portion of the test is looking for Peripheral Vascular Disease. The Segmental ABI portion of the assessment is performed using Blood Pressure Cuffs on the arms and ankles, EKG Leads on the skin and PO2 Sensors on the patient fingers and toes.
  • Sudomotor Testing - This portion of the test is looking Microvascular Disease. The Sudomotor portion of the test consists of the patient placing their hands and feet on Stainless Steel Electrodes. A low direct voltage (lower than 4V) will be emitted in increments. This activates the patient sweat glands.
